I you are aiming towards a hedgehog then the best way may be via 2. ... e6, which at the same time excludes 3. Bb5.
(Unless you opt for the kingside fianchetto. In that case the accelerated dragon seems to be a more direct route.
But I think you should take a closer look at this before you decide to go there...)

I absolutely share your dislike of meeting the Rossolimo. But this is no reason for not playing 2..Nc6 in the closed Sizilian as 3.Bb5 can be very well met with Nd4, so the likeliness of 3.Bb5 to happen is just about 3 %, says the Megabase.

I like open postions thats why I tried everything through the last months to find something what could fit me against the closed Sicilian. I know now that it does not exist! Either you build up with d6+e5 - if your opponent allows by not occupying the centre - or e6+d5, or you try 2..a6, or 2..Nc6, or 2...g6. Whatever you try , either you end in a closed position or in a hedgehog position or in a french-type position. I have given it up to find something against the closed SIC what fits me, in the meantime I am sure it doesnt exist.

So between the 3 choices (aggressive but very closed - hedgehog - frenchtype) I decided to go for the hedgehog type with e6 + d6 (I played long time what most people play, the closed aggressive type with 2...Nc6 + g6 + Bg7 but this leads at the end to this setup where e4+f4 stands vs. e5+f5 and for some reason I often did step wrong in this complicated position, where the timing when to open decides the game, and my scores were not well).

My question: what you would recommmend, better play the e6+d6 with Fianchetto 2...g6 or without (and putting the bishop on e7).

I tend to say better with, as most White players tend to play 3.f4 or 3.g3 and then later on 5. or 6.f4, so they aim for my kingside and thus a Bg7 should be a very helpful thing.
