I am curious if Dunnington will pay attention to the line that almost busts the KIA: 1.Nf3 f5 2.g3 Nf6 3.Bg2 d6 4.o-o e5. White has nothing better than d4 transposing to a normal Dutch.

I doubt that many Whites play 1. Nf3 with the intention of avoiding the Dutch.  But if 1...f5, Black also has to reckon with 2. e4.  I'd be curious to hear what folks here think about that.

I think the best way of meeting the KIA is the "French," with pawns on e6, d5 and c5, knights on c6 and e7, bishops on d6 and d7, queen on c7.  I will be curious to see what this new book recommends against this.

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

Advertised on the Everyman site for September 2005.  Author is Angus Dunnington, who also wrote Ultimate KIA a while back.

Has any one heard about a new Kings Indian Attack
book out in August under the starting out title.
Also anyone heard about a Duncan Suttles book
of games coming out? Grin
