The Gligoric is a good system, the only problem with it really is that it's a bit less flexible than 7.0-0, which is even better than 7.Be3!  I play the Gligoric system only when my opponent doesn't play 7.0-0 Nc6.   

Theoretically, White's advantage is relatively small but durable in the Black Exchange variation (7. 0-0 ed4) or in the 7...Nbd7 and 7...Na6 lines.  7...c6 is also a bit passive for Black.   In practice, Black really has struggled in the games I've played (all the way up to 2450 USCF) to reach equality out of the opening.  Okay, I usually botch the late middlegame but that's in spite of not because of my opening positions.  There's been some interesting conversations in the "7...Na6 vs 7...Nc6" thread about 8.Be3.

I usually play 7...Na6 with the idea that 8.0-0 Ng4 9.Bg5 Qe8 just transposes to the mainline of the 7...Na6 Classical(7.0-0 Na6 8.Be3 Ng4 9.Bg5 Qe8). 
However, as white has not yet castled he can try to "punish" black by playing(after 7...Na6) 8.d5. Then black answers with 8...Ng4 and play may continue like this: 9.Bg5 f6 10.Bh4(10.Bd2 f5 is fine for black)...h5!? 11.Nd2 c5 and complicated play follows. 
White will play h3 and g4 followed by Qc2(or Qb3) 0-0-0 and Rdg1. Against this black normally plays ...Nh6, hxg4, Nf7, Bh6, Kg7 and Rh8 with approximately equal chances.

All right, King's Indian gurus and theory hounds.  1. d4 Nf6  2. c4 g6  3. Nc3 Bg7  4. e4 d6  5. Nf3 0-0  6. Be2 e5 7. Be3.  I am attracted to this move, which puts a piece on a good square and prepares for a fluid, maneuvering game.

Is 7. Be3 any good?
