	How can Everton be a favourite team if you root for Liverpool? ??? I am shocked

	BTW, Newcastle beating Man City this week wasn't the Blues' big surprise loss. Falling out of the Carling Cup was. Wow!

	Good point, woofwoof. I have a hard time with Everton since it's one of my family's favorite teams. I thought after last season they'd have a chance to move up, but they look pretty horrible right now. In fact, right at this moment, my choice to include Wigan is looking brilliant, if I may say so myself! Anyway, I'll hold off for now, but after mid-October we should be able to figure out the top 8 or so.

	I say we wait on it a bit. Newcastle may just blow up into inconsistancy again. I also dread to think what might happen if Owen's hamstring acts up again since they dont have depth in the striker's department. Amoebi is improving as a player but I dont think he's adequate cover for both Owen & Shearer for this season at least. For now I dare say Tottenham Hotspur if an immediate change is wanted. They seem to be having a decent season so far......better than previous years anyway. I think we can change around as the season progresses.

	Newcastle beat Man City 1-0 courtesy of Owen. Hope this good form continues. With Fernando Alonso winning the F-1 Driver's championship with Renault at Interlagos, Brazil; it was a real good sporting weekend for me.

	I looked at Liverpool's schedule the other day. We still have two games in hand, so don't count us out yet. Also, take a look at Arsenal. Sure, Chelsea's fired out of the starting blocks, but they're not impossible. After all, they nearly drew their first home game against Wigan! BTW, Liverpool get to play Chelsea twice in a row in the Champions' League. Once Chelsea starts its European season in earnest, they'll have to choose who to rest and which games to push for just as Liverpool and Arsenal have already been doing.

	Not just according to the poll - look at the league table! It will be over by Easter this season.

	We didnt win because we werent invited. It is kind of hard to win a tournament when you're absent. Anyway we have an excellent record for tournaments in Germany, we always reach the final and 50% of the time we win the title. That got me thinking, have the English ever won anything after '66 or away from home? *Note: last question is rhetorical

	To continue another idea... Ronaldhino won FIFA player of the Year... Wayne Rooney, of Manchester United Red Card fame, won the FIFA young player of the year. I can proudly say that two of my cousins played with him in one of the competitive teams in Liverpool. (I don't remember which one now, but there aren't that many.) Ronaldhino's comments about the best teams and leagues in the world are interesting. Check them out at BBC.

	Hmmm, Willempie and all the Dutch fans out there: remember this last summer? Who won that little tournament the Germans held? Who came in second? What will be the most likely result of the little tournament the Germans are hosting next summer? Hmmm... Gives you something to think about.
