Hi Victor,

I am an avid subscriber, and am really interested in your perspectives on the king's indian defense. I have two questions: First, in most of your evaluations Black is always slightly worse, and only gains an advantage or equality when white makes a dubious move, is this due to your objective opinion that the king's indian is an "unreliable" defense? Secondly, I wanted to know if their was a reason that the annotations to the Avrukh-Bojkov game from Aug 2005, did not have my name "Tommy J. Curry" in reference to the analysis, the reason I ask is because the ebook fails to mention the completed lines of analysis that I thought would be added.

Thanks in advance for your reply,
Tommy J. Curry A.K.A Teyko

An update will be ready in a few days with one Samisch, but with 6.Nge2. So next time I'll try to cover a line with 6.Be3.

Victor.

While you are at it, how about 6.Bg5?

Hi GM Michalevski,

How about an update on Old Indian? There is not much coverage lately.
