6.Bg5 is another way for white, obviously ruling out 6...e6 or 6...Nf6 7.Bf6 it seems, but is it significant?: 6...hg 7.Nf3 fe 8.Ng5 Nh6 was the start of Shipman-Deng 04', later 1-0

It does not look like black can transpose to the game quoted by Gustavo Lezcano after 7...Nf6 8.Qg6. However 8...Ne4 led to a wild draw in Alzate-Rodi 05'

Viking, I´m not sure that it is white advantage (7.Bxg5 hxg5 8.Nxg5 Qe7 9.Qxf7 Qxf7 10.Nxf7 Kxf7 11. exf5 ) but I found this game that can answer your question...

Isnt white just better after the very forced variation:  Undecided
7.Bxg5 hxg5 8.Nxg5 Qe7 9.Qxf7 Qxf7 10.Nxf7 Kxf7 11. exf5 exf5 

White has rook and two pawns against two minor black pieces...

If 5.Qh5 Rf7 6.Nf3 only move is e6, and now 7.exf5 Nf6 (7... exf5? 8.Ne5 Qe7 9.Bc4 +-) 8.Qg6 gxh4 9.Ne5 Qe7 with a mess or  7.Bxg5 hxg5 8.Ne5 Qe7 9.exf5 Nf6 10.Qxg5 Rg7, too very complex.
There isn´t  theory...

....but I wonder how black can answer 5.Qh5+ Rf7 6.Nf3 which at first sight looks very strong too me...

!Hi! I saw that GM Flear says that in line 1.d4 f5 2.Bg5 h6 3.Bh4 g5 4.e4!? only is playable 4... Nf6, but too is interesting and playable the very complex 4... Rh7. I know a game Meza, Anahi (WFM)-Llanos, Guillermo (IM), Argentina (ch) tt 2000, where black won rapidly. I have excellents results with it in rapids games against strong and medium opposition and in the online database of Chesslive there are only four games. !Food for thought!
