Hi all!
There's been a long time since me last visiting the forum..

and I understand that some of my questions may have been answered in some other threads in the forum, please excuse the fact that I have lost track of the available info..
My questions go to practicioners of the Dutch (some of you that come to my mind: MNb, HgMan, Dutch-Kalashnikov, ...):
I've been playing KID all my life and detested the exchange variation and sometimes the fianchetto variation. I now have (extremely) limited time to study and since I have also always loved K-side attacks, a friend of mine suggested to try the Dutch Leningrad.
1.
KID or Dutch? (just your gut feeling, no need to back up your opinion)
2. If Dutch,
what system ? (e.g. Leningrad)
3. In view of the above,
what book? (I have no experience with the opening / I'm about 1900 ELO / try first to UNDERSTAND my openings / able to learn a few variations)
If another opening / idea comes to your mind please share it with me,
Thanks in advance,
Christos
