My good old 1964 book on the Dutch by Rolf Schwarz (sorry, Alumbrado) gives 1.d4 Nf6 2.g3 g6 3.Bg2 Bg7 4.Nf3 d6 (e6 5.o-o Nh6 6.c4 o-o 7.Nc3 Nf7 8.e4 d6 9.Be3 c6 10.Qd2 Nievergelt-Walther, 1959, a5) 5.b3 (5.o-o Nh6 6.c3 Nf7 7.Qb3 e6 8.Ng5 d5 9.Nxf7 Kxf7 Dittmann-Ciocaltea, 1956) Nc6 (acc to S 5...Nh6 6.Bb2 o-o 7.o-o f4 is somewhat better) 6.Bb2 Nh6 7.Nc3! e6 (e5 8.dxe5 9.Qxd8+ Nxd8 10.Nd5 +-) 8.Qd2 d5 (Nf7) 9.Ne5 Nxe5 10.dxe5 Nf7 11.f4 +=Pirc-Alexander, 1954.
In these days Basman was hardly active yet.
  
The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

Isnt this the Basman variation!? I guess that at least U will find some games with Basman on the black side....

I know I have seen some analysis of it in an old dutch - book i borrowed at the library some years back.... Dont remember the name or author though  Sad

Does anyone have any experience with Leningrad setups with Nh6? I am thinking of e.g. 1.d4 f5 2.g4 g6 3.Nf3 d6 4.c4 Nh6 5.Bg2 Nf7 6.Nc3 Bg7 7.0-0 0-0 or the like. I assume it's too dangerous as long as white hasn't committed to Nf3 and/or g3, yet, because after all even 1.d4 f5 2.c4 Nf6 3.Nc3 g6 4.h4 is often considered to be quite dangerous for black and surely if the black knight is on h6 the h2-h4-h5 attack has to be more dangerous?

I wonder is there any analysis on this anywhere?
