Willempie, instead of writing this nonsense you might as well order that book at Debestezet. It is already available there. Then you can tell me, that I must buy it too (I will anyhow). Wink

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

Personally I suspect a certain forum member to have written loads of emails to them about faulty analysis in their books full of references to Spielmann, Schwarz, Nunn and McNabb, so they thought this was the best way to get rid of that Wink

Perhaps they've noticed the disproportionate number of references to Spielmann on this forum and failed to note that they came from or were directed to a single member, but assumed that the market was ripe for a new book on Spielmann.  It will be interesting to learn whether the analysis makes this book rich beyond the beauty of the games...

The intention is Ok, but it is old news for a Spielmann admirer like me. I wonder, if McDonald has analysed the games in deep? The analyses I have collected, are quite old and leave a lot to desire.

Just saw that there is a new book on Rudolf Spielmann by Everyman:
