Interesting. Fritz and Crafty are now giving different evaluations. Crafty small white advantage whereas Fritz is giving black advantage.

Well, look at that. You post enough garbage and once in a while you're right.

OK, now this one I don't get. Is he planning 31...Qh5 32 Kf1, so that f5 hangs after a capture on h2? Kramnik's certainly moving awfully fast, which you'd think was a good sign.

Ender, our hero! Please tell us what Rybka's saying after 31...Qh5, evaluation, etc.

Now I have to agree with Keano that Black looks better.  I didn't understand Kramnik's decision to play 29.Qf8 though.

Rybka says : After Qh5 white play Kf1 and position is about equal Smiley
Don't forget pawn on f5 is attacked, so I'm not so optimistic on black chances here.

Hmm. Maybe Black could do something with the queen on the queenside in the other line. I wonder if Kramnik's idea is to meet ...Qf7 now with the prophylactic Rc2?

Or ...Qf7 31.Qc8, according to Rybka

Must admit I was worried about a queen appearing on H5 too. Very rare for me to agree with Keano ...

I don't think White's going to play Rb1 now, allowing the deflection of the b8 rook to the first rank. I'm expecting Rxb7 and some queen thrust into Black's vitals. But don't ask me, ask Klick - he's the man with Crafty on the job.

...Rb7; excellent sign for White, surely? Once Black's trading pieces he'll surely find this rook on h6 quite hard to justify, won't he?

Hopeful thinking John?  Wink I still like the plan of ...Qf7 - h5, what is happening there (assuming White plays Rb1 now)
