Anyone else notice that Playchess server seems to be down?

Well, I guess that's dealt with Ne4. Looks like a concession to me though. I still don't like this b6 guy! Didn't Tarrasch say a knight on b6 is always misplaced?

GM Rowson - I hope I'm wrong but I think White's better here. Black neds more than a move; he needs a concept to cope with f4 and Ne4.

Still not all that happy myself. Combining ....e5 and trading the light bishop offends me deeply somewhere in my soul. Probably just me.

I have trouble making a call on this one.  White has the center and a bit more space, but Black's pieces are better.  I think Black is at least OK, though.

Why is Kramnik playing these one move settings as my son calls it.

White doesn't look so bad to me, actually. I always miss that light-squared bishop as Black, and I still don't know quite what I'm going to do with the guy on b6. But Sue P is also a bit down on Topa's play, so perhaps Black's just fine.

SusanP comments on move 11.

Quote:
The position is roughly equal in this position. I do not understand the SAME opening choice from Topalov over and over again. He SHOULD try something different, anything different. He has no more time left.

What a player that Topa is - got to get up early to catch him out.

Why Kg2 and not Be3, I wonder?
