	I just finished up the workday at the office and rush to the comp. to see how things went and 1/2 is the result. This is good for Toppa since , as some have already stated, it gives him the chance to right the ship. I would venture to say that Toppa comes out with guns blazing in game #4. What will be even more interesting is to see if Kramnik comes out and tries to go for the throat or lays back and plays for draws......time will tell!

	In a interview on the official web site it is stated that there is one person in Topalov's team that is a parapsychologist! What role does he take in the match I wonder? Are we back to the Karpov-Kortsjnoi days?

	My money will still be on Drawnik to play for draws from now on . That's what a Petrosian would do! He neednt play for wins anymore. Just keep forcing draws & capitalising on whatever mistakes Toppa might make once he gets desperate & tries to force the issue. For the sake of chess, I really do hope for Toppa to do a Fischer '72. Being 2-0 down, Fischer seemed more stimulated rather than discouraged & played some truly memorable games where he completely outplayed Spassky. Games 3, 6 & 10 in particular.

	strong words Castlerock. the momentum is with my man Toppy, so lets just wait and see what happens. I admit one more slip-up and he can forget it, but the important thing is he is creating the opportunities and that can be the hardest thing .... As for Kramnik taking a draw on his own terms, that was a position he should have at least made Toppy suffer, instead by all accounts he got very short of time and then forced a perpetual in a position where he had already gone wrong. All the evidence suggests to me that Kramnik is not in top form for this match....however the score is 2-0. Previously I thought a 2-0 score for Kramnik was end of match in a 12 game match, but on this evidence I still give Topalov a good shout at the comeback.

	Kramnik had a better position through out the game and took the draw on his terms. (Why not?) Hardly encouraging for Topalov. I thought (especially, after game 2) Topalov will have the normal human doubts and his risk taking abilities will take back seat, unless something worthwhile happens for him in game 3. Ditto for Kramnik. He had the scores and not the confidence associated with it. This game has, imo, changed things for better for him. My money is on Kramnik and I won't be surprised if the match winds up in 10 games

	Yes - if Topalov gets the type of game he had last time he´ll have no complaints! Maybe time for the QGA!? I would imagine Kramniks team have prepared 2 defences to both 1.d4 and 1.e4 in depth. Then again he may have put the most effort into the Slav, but if its not working... My money is on Slav again and a Kramnik refinement.

	Kramnik probably wouldn't mind repeating the Slav from Game 2, with of course a small improvement ready, which i think will not be too hard to find.

Topalov will probably play 1.d4 and see if Kramnik varies from the Slav. I thought Kramnik had the edge throughout today's game, but it never looked dangerous for Topalov. Neither player looking to take risks: Kramnik, because giving Topalov a chance to win with Black would put him in good position to even the match score in game 4; Topalov, because game 4 with White is a better time to take risks and press hard for a win. Game 4 is pretty much a must win situation for Topalov - it should be an exciting game!

	This is quite a bizarre World ch, since by the looks of it Kramnik is not really in great form yet he is 2-0 up, but thats chess. The momentum is with Topalov even if the score is not

	A draw. Kramnik looked a little better than Topalov throughout this game, but in the end I thought he was going to blow it on time.

	Well - looked like good active dynamic defence from Topalov, in what looked like a typical Kramnik position with a solid edge. A draw is just what Topalov needed to steady the ship, next game he can come out gunning, but he still has time to draw that as well, we are not in the desperation stakes yet since Topalov seems well able to create winning chances with White.

	The match has gone more or less as I expected so far - except for one thing - the results! I expected Topalov to have too much energy for Kramnik and to outplay him, but what I didnt expect is the collapse from a won position. BUT - it is still early days (despite being a short match) and the way Topalov plays he has the energy to create winning chances in virtually every game, also he has a habit of being a slow starter (except for San Luis!) so my analysis of the match is this: 1) If Kramniks level of play stays the same and Topalov steps it up, he will still win the match 2)The 64,000 dollar question - if Kramnik finds another level and manages to win a game by outplaying Topalov, then the match is virtually over.
