	I went to lunch and missed everything - is the time control move 40? If so Kramnik has just 2 more moves to make it?

	I imagine you are also on the punter level, a broad one in my vocabulary. The higher one’s rating gets in my experience, the clearer it is to one that one understands virtually nothing about the game. The b-pawn doesn’t look so immune to me now after say 37 Qf4 Rxb2. And allowing the knight to d4 by moving the queen off the fourth rank doesn’t look so clever, either. Is it possible that White has slightly stubbed his toe, I wonder? He’s been thinking a long time if he was expecting 36…Nb6.

	If you're playing punter-level, what would that say about my level? I am inclined to agree, but still think white has better play, especially if the queens go off. I havent calculated everything but I think the b-pawn is immune after Qe4.

	Or doesn't force exchanges if White plays Bc2 of course. What's that about then? Why isn't b2 just en prise, I wonder? Still Vlad seems to reckon he has the thing under control; he's replied very quickly. I guess ...Nb6 was to keep e4 under observation and stop Qe4.

	I don't think so - 35...Qb7 forces exchanges; it could even be at punter level (ie me) that White is the one having trouble. I think we'll see a draw pretty soon.

	Now they start playing too quick, I cant even make a coffee and two moves have been played Now after move 34 white looks better to me, whether it is winnable is difficult to see for me.

	I know what you mean, Willempie, and a priori I'd think White was better too. But I have an idea I've seen this sort of structure before and Black was pretty comfortable - of course, it all depends where the pieces are. And the clock times are encouraging too; Kramnik's playing fast and seems to be under no particular pressure.

	I was holding my breath and didn't want to shoot my mouth (as always, except when I want to bad mouth Topalov) After 32...b5 looks like it is a draw.

	Well I am not too sure. The pawn structure reminds me of the forum game against HgMan in the Caro advance in which even with all exchanges black had a very tough time. Plus now white has the bishops so black seems to be destined to defending. Then again I am no Kramnik so I may be completely off

	Well I was rather hoping for a clash like in some of the K&K games where Kasparov went for the attack, but Karpov defended resourcefully.
