Ok I´m not going to sit on the fence - I believe this is close to winning for Black now. Last few moves Toppy has consolidated.

Pfft I am happy I am not playing with either colour as I am bound to screw this up.

41 f4 looks like a very good resource for white

Polgar seems to like Black and reports GMs changing that way on the servers as well....still not so sure; Black's going to have give either ...g3 or ...a5, I think.

Word seems to be that 15...Qa5 was the novelty although 14 Qd4 has been played only rarely. If 15 Qxa7 simply ....Bd6 gives Black good compensation (or so they are saying).

Looking forward to being at home and watching this properly on ICC - my, we do get spoiled these days...

After 39...Kd6

Quote:
All of a sudden, many observers started to shift their opinion to liking Black better. As I said earlier, Black has chances to win and it is the side you would want to have if you need to go for the win. This kind of endgames is hard to evaluate, even for GMs

Maybe Rc1 was a mistake by Kramnik? If I´m White I´m worried now, but what do I know

Why ...Nef6 instead of ...Nd6?

I think 39...Kd6 answered my question.

Kramnik's rooks are active, I guess.  Not an easy position to assess.  I like Black but think White will hold without great difficulty.

Well if you are playing to win I suppose it has to be this way, I still like Black, amazed there are GM´s who will take White here

I think that due to the match "developments" it is hard to be objective.
