Yes, Unfortunately. Game is gone for Kramnik. He's thoroughly out prepared Cry

Oh, I don't know.  I don't think it's White win yet.

Fritz 9 seems a bit too pessimistic (almost -2) but white seems clearly better. Was 10...dxc4 really necessary?

No, not yet. But soon it would be I guess. It will need Kramnik's best defense to save the game. In the present scenario, I'm not optimistic. It would be great if he saves the game. Let's see.

No its not a win yet, obviously White is much better but it still needs to be won, I'd assess it clear/big advantage White

well 19...exf4 I had not expected, it looks like a good practical choice from Kramnik - he is worse but this way he has better chances to defend

Shredders first choice was Qb5 but Kramniks Qb8 seems more logical to me Tongue

Me too, although watching from e3e5.com, I don't see that yet.  Ah, now I have it.  After Qc2 it looks like Kramnik has to exchange his e-pawn.

well 19.Qc2 - simple chess. All Topalovs moves will flow naturally now - he has 2 bishops, a weak pawns to attack, a nice kingside majority, whereas the Kramnik position looks awful to have to play for me.

Well I just connected to see whats going on, and I cannot believe this position. I thought Topalov would come out strongly today, but how on earth has Kramnik managed to land himself in this position? Positionally he just looks busted already.

Any thoughts on Game 9 so far? Looks like it is going to be an interesting game.

I just got my first glance of the game, and it looks to me like Kramnik may be in trouble already.
