Incidentally I think the reason Kramnik was moving vey fast (besides being in time pressure) is that he realised his position was busted.

His position was busted (at least in a positional sense) much earlier.  Trying to salvage the busted position is what GOT him into time pressure.

Wow.

Topalov really busted him up today.
Why did Kramnik take ...Bxc3?

Man...he got a whipping today.  Great game by Topalov.

1-0.  Kramnik resigned!

Nice comeback in the match by Topalov - too bad it's tainted.  Imagine how impressive this would've been if game 5 had been played (and drawn).  Then again, who knows whether Kramnik could have been dominated the same way in such a scenario.

A reluctant congrats to Topalov for another impressive game.

Yes its curtains now - great game by Topalov, very impressive. This is going to be tough for Kramnik now to recover after 2 straight defeats. The Toppy machine is starting to roll....

Thought 35...c5 was needed. and Kramnik plays Nf8. Boy, I don't understand 2750+ chess!

I guess Kramnik didn't like the look of 35...c5 36.d5, but 35...Nf8 (played) looks so passive.  I think White is winning here (or very close).

OK I see what he was up to now - its simple chess again Rf3 and double on the f-file now - this is looking like very strong play from Topalov

35...c5 looks reasonable for Kramnik.  Toppy's recent play looks almost aimless to me, but I'm sure I just missing the point. Grin

Kramnik has played his last few move pretty fast. Hopefuly, he should be able to reach the time control intact.

I think Topalov's only problem now is chosing between too many good plans.
