	Yes my little sister might have trouble against Kramnik - I think shed end up with R v R+B and not know how to defend it Seriously though, in the local weekend congress I have no trouble playing this on, but this is the World Ch!

	Still so confident, Keano? You need to find a good post for the bishop to defend that pawn, but if e6 then it gets in the way and if the king gets driven to the back rank it’s not impossible to imagine some R and B v R attack. The bishop might obstruct both the second-rank stalemate defence and the check-from-the-back defence. To be honest (and don’t headbutt me now!) I do think Kramnik would have your little sister from this position, unless you’re an elder sibling in the Hunt family, perhaps. But to be sure I expect Topalov will hold on.

	Well, he is a pawn up (or will be soon). I saw Keith Arkell win a similar ending without a plus pawn at the Isle of Man. I had R and four v R and 3 on the same side once against Smyslov, back when I was a kid and he was descending out of the clouds to play at Lloyds Bank. I gave him the draw - it was in the days of adjournments and I didn't think it was right to drag a legend back to defend that sort of thing in the evening, when it was such a privilege to play him anyway. Wise decision - to judge from my recent effort against Kiriakov at IoM I'd probably have lost.

	Nonsense, they often play these out in matches. It’s tiring defending them and not so tiring being in the driving seat. Folk have played R & N –v- R for 50 moves, R gh –v- h, and so on.

	Entertaining flame war on SP between Kamsky and Short concerning the 1994 match. Both GMs rehearsing their positions about as you’d expect (Kamsky's an exceptionally witty occasional blogger). Really quite parallel to the present match.

	Kramnik obviously determined to have his torturing fun. Even this can be quite annoying if White plays a few very loose moves, but of course it'll be a draw here. Although I'm sure they're VERY tired and stuff does happen.
