One is a repertoire book for Black. The other is a repertoire book for White. How could one be a subsitute for the other?

I was thinking of getting this book just for the Nimzo and Bogo coverage.

Any Nimzo and Bogo players out there who have used this book? How good is the coverage of these systems?
