Well, 11...b6 has long been a book move, though I have the impression that theory has tended to regard 11...Nd7 12. a4 Bh6 as the leading try.

Please forgive me for bumping this old thread but I've been recently looking that this line and to me 11...b6 looks like the lemon.  Try 11...Nd7 instead (to hold c5) followed by 12...h6 (to keep the knight out) and 13...f5 seems to give black good play.

Thanks very much Inn2!  That is a very logical variation and it makes me want to consider buying some of that second edition.  Perhaps I will if I continue to investigate this for White.

Khalifman covers this in the 2nd edition of Kramnik series, here's a summary: 12... Nd7 13. a5 Nc5 14. axb6 Rxa1 15. Qxa1 cxb6 16. Rb1 f5 17. Bxc5! bxc5 18. Rb8 Qc7 19. Qa8 which is better for White. 

the key is to play Bxc5 at the right moment and infiltrate with the heavy pieces.

Perhaps someone could give me some advice on how to play White after:

1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.Nf3 0-0 6.Be2 e5 7.0-0 Nc6 8.d5 Ne7 9.b4 a5 10.Ba3 axb4 11.Bxb4 b6 12.a4 Nd7 

12...Nd7 looks like a natural move but it's not in any of my sources.  My idea for Black is just to play ...Nc5 attempting to slow down White's play on the king-side.  White can play a5 but I think Black should just allow axb6 since the b-pawn is hard to get to.   Black can follow up with ...f5 or ...Bh6 or maybe both.   
Hoping someone can show me the way forward for White.  Failing that I'll take up the King's Indian again and find out!
