Seems there is also a large (>400 posts) game thread missing from the French Defense section.

Apparently someone was trying to break in by attempting to log in with a whole bunch of different usernames and guessed passwords yesterday morning, they didn't succeed but they seem to have messed up 5 member's details. Very odd. Why would anyone want to get into a Forum? Undecided

I have also noticed that "Silman's new book" thread is missing from the Endgames forum.

Tony - there is additional (possibly related) problem - which you may or may not already know of.

Some recent posts have been converted to (unreadable) "attachments" to previous posts, see Dragonslayers post in e4e5 / "King's gambit - Estrin and Glazkov book" and James Vigus's post in d4d5 / "The Catalan".

I myself got all my "read" marks deleted, so that all topics appeared "unread" - but that's a minor problem compared with the others.

Whenever there is a post by "Ex member," I am unable to open the thread.  Something about "error 303, not such file as .txt".

I'm using Firefox.
