Aero Bars! Wow I miss them. I am from Canada, so I loved them, but they don't have them in the United States.

"Whats the best opening ? e4 or d4? I think this is irrefutable evidence...The food vending machine where I work has Mars Bars, for sale at position d4 whereas e4 buys you Tums. Clearly Mars bars, and hence d4 is the better selection. I welcome all challenges to this assertion, but please provide evidence of the caliber stated above!"

So based on this, what's the best defence to these openings???

In my vending machine, 1...c5, Milky Ways.  (There is no ...e6.  Zhal)

I do have an alternative move:  Kick the bloody machine and get it to give me pop-tarts or chips for free.  Unethical?  Hardly.  If it has e4=tums, then a swift kick is well deserved.

Your machine may be badly programmed. Mine has a choice between e4 (Aero), d4 (Picnic) and c4 (Sensations Thai sweet chilli crisps). On this basis I would say 1.d4 was best, with an interesting choice of reply between 1...e6 (Polo) and 1...d5 (KP salted nuts).

Hmm, problem is though, I think you'd fall foul of the FIDE rule about bringing electronic eqiuipment into the playing hall. Eternal life maybe, but it'd be the end of your chess career.

So much for that plan for world domination. Any other ideas?

I suppose if you have already achieved world domination, that wld give you the rights & prerogative to rewrite the chess rules to allow electronic help into the playing hall?

That is if Iron Man or some hero doesnt interfere.

You could have left it there, couldn't you? I mean, the answers to Mr. Grossi were good for a couple of laughs  Cheesy.

Aren't the 64 squares enough for you?

I'm afraid I felt this overwhelming desire to eradicate him, sorry! Grin

Well that's a bloody good idea! No matter what I will be saved.

I don't plan to die though, I plan to live just long enough till they can transfer all memory and brain functions to a robot. By then I intend to be the richest man in the world and I will get the biggest most dangerous robot ever. Then my plan for world domination will be complete.  Cool
