I recall that being called "the Fred."  As far as literature, well, I seem to recall ECO giving 2. ef Nf6 3. d4 d5 4. Bd3 ±.

Is there any litterature about the Duras gambit (1.e4-f5)?
  
Yusupov once said that “The problem with the Dutch Defence is that later in many positions the best move would be ...f5-f7” but he is surely wrong.
