R+B+2P vs Q

I've been wondering lately whether in the R+B+2P vs Q endgame the side with the queen can draw or not, if the opposing side's pawns are not too advanced (even if they are connected?!), say as white pawns on the 2nd & 3rd rank? Does it change much if they are on say the 4th or 5th rank? Obviously the closer it gets to promotion the less generalizable the situation will be.

Basically I am wondering about the kind of position where neither side really has an extreme advantages right away (one side having discoordinated pieces, bad king position or the like).

Dvorestky and Müller/Lamprecht don't seem to say anything much on this topic.
