Greetings,
They're probably agreeing draws to save themselves for the "new kid on the block".

Thanks, Dragan Glas. It's handy to have some more context for 17.Bf1. Am I right in understanding, then, that 19...Rcd8 is the new move? I looked at 19...h6, but I figured it was only helping White reposition his knight, and the rook was probably more useful keeping an eye on the d-file. I don't remember if 20.Ne4 entered into my thoughts at all or in what manner. Nevertheless, I would be inclined to give 22.Qg4 a ?!--any advantage that White might have had disappears after the d-pawn falls...
Certainly 19 ..., Rcd8 was a new move - although, as I said earlier, my database isn't up-to-date. It could well reach another game position through transposition.
Just to update you...
I've finally added all the TWIC PGN files - so my database is up-to-date ... at least with regard to TWIC(!)
I played through the game again but found no further transpositions, so - for now - your move is a TN!
The draw was perhaps the best option - there's not much after 26. ..., Nxb7, which I assume would have been his last hope for a swindle, as blundering by grabbing the f-pawn first leads to the embarrassing 26. ..., Qxf2+?; 27. Kh1, Nxb7??; 28. Bc4+, Kh8; 29. Rf1, Qc5; 30. Qa1+ leading to mate. [Just in case there are any newbies looking at the thread and thinking "Why not 26. ..., Qxf2+!?". 27. ..., Kg7 isn't much better - but we'll let them work out that themselves!

Kindest regards,
Dragan Glas
