ZATARA, 

Please take a look at some of the excellent comments in other threads on ...a6.  This is known as the Chebanenko Slav and you may find some threads under that name.

Hi all,
What do people think of the a6 slav?  1.d4 d5 2.c4 c6 3Nf3 Nf6 4.Nc3 a6???  Is it sharper than regular slav of the slav with 5...e6??  IS it still playable?/
