The first good news in a long time. Mewonders who they will get as a replacement. Adriaanse?
Personally I hope for Otto Rehhagel, though that has as much a chance of happening as me winning against Anand.

The book had the effect good books usually have: it made the stupids more stupid, the intelligent more intelligent and the other thousands of readers remained unchanged.

Did Ajax actually want to play Champions League?

The way they played they shouldnt be allowed into the women's league.

This is getting sad:

There are only two people chatting in this thread, and even they can't stay on topic!  What's with this talk about Marseilles in a Dutch Football thread?

Well if you have a french team playing both Twente and Ajax in the UEFA you get that (and have problems with their supporters, like the police taking lots of weapons when they check the Marseille buses).

btw you're prolly less happy about Van der Sar Wink

PS I am colourblind so this orange is good enough Smiley

Oh, and thanks again for Kuyt!  Liverpool is a better team because of him.

I hope this is close enough to Oranje for you!

Finally we agree on club football: Marseille deserved to get eliminated!

Also note the different attitude of the EUFA towards Marseille and Feyenoord with regards to the behaviour of their respective supporters in games.

I hope so. Such behavious does not belong to the Twente-tradition (all time champions of the fair play cup).
Any news on Stekelenburg?

He isnt happy. I am not either, finally they played really decent and then they get thrown out courtesy of some slipping and an error.

Primadonnas arent solely at Ajax. I was watching Willem II against Twente and Arnautovich behaved beyond disgraceful.
He scored and then he went to his opponent and "hugged" him. After the game his opponent went to him and he behaved even more like he was Romario incarnated. I havent seen this behaviour even with Zlatan or Romario. I suspect Twente will have some minor disciplanary action to nip this in the bud.

What do we need when the competition is boring? Why, a nice little scandal of course! Fortunately Ajax has Van Basted, who delivers perfectly timed:

Translation of the header:

Angry Stekelenburg refuses to compete (with Vermeer - MNb).

MML-League has not been so predictable since a long time. AZ gets a free ride on its way to the championship. Race for 2nd place might become interesting yet.
