Thanks fpr both answers:
I installed already the database from chessvilles and it worked.
The other site (G. Ossimitz) is very impressive; and I will uise this data, when I solved all 1000 combinations.

You could try this file from Chessville:

I think they also have Reinfeld's 1001 Brilliant Ways to Checkmate on their site somewhere.

Of course, if you are willing to "go commercial" it should be relatively easy to convert Chessbase tactics Training CDs to pgn.

I used to use some free pgn tactics files on pocket pc downloaded from a site run by gunther ossimitz maybe they would work.

Hi,
One of the best features of pöcket fritz 3 is the tactics training (you can fill all waiting times anywhere with training).
Unfortunately I went throught all the delivered puzzles.

Does anyone hava produced and tried to build an own additional tactics database fpr fritz 3 ?
