Categorising/tagging forum posts for searching?

Is there some way of categorising/tagging posts so that they are easier to search for? E.g. ECO codes (although e.g. B01 would be just too undetailed for searching specific lines in the 1.e4 ... section, I suppose) or categories created on request by moderators?
