Ok thx, so there was a difference after all.
But does it influence the walking distance?
It seems to me that the actual hours you play and the average length of the games and the average time standing still at a board are of great influence as well.
Suppose I agree to play a thousend opponents and everyone is so impressed that he resigns after I play 1.e4! Evidently I wont have to walk that far, unless the organizer have made the distance between any two players 1 km
For instance Rosendaal played 30 hours against 720 players, so he must have walked a large distance as well.
And if a large number of games has ended, you can take a short-cut, depend on the way the playing arena is layed out, and the participants are distributed.
Does anybody know how long Bohm had to play to achieve his record?
Georgiev 14,5 hours 360 games= 2,4 min per game.
Rosendaal 30 hours 730 games = 2,5 min per game.
