I play chess all the same. The Great Depression of 1929 did not stop chess tournaments from being held in USA, nor did WW2.

You have to have taken unneccesary superficial risks to be eligible.; BDG players will have their ratings made whole, leading to inflation in the rating system while leaving cautious Caro-Kanners relatively worse off.
Those God members deemed too big for their boots to fail will have their own dedicated program overseen by the Fid(e), the Tarnished Openings Relief Program.

What next? Soon, we are going to be talking about Zombie players! Hmm...actually, I think I know a few.

The government is reimbursing the rating points I lost, due to the crisis.

A ratings points bailout? Hmm....i wonder if i qualify.

Do you get bonuses?
Did you completely screw up your chess?

If yes probably...

I have to travel to compete in tournaments. Having not played OTB chess for sometime, I was hoping to travel to two tournaments this year. However, I am thinking I had better pay down some debt instead.  Undecided

Is the global financial crisis affecting your chess? Like are you buying less chess books? Traveling less to tournaments? Cutting your subscriptions?  Or being more frugal with your pawns, sacrificing less  Cheesy
