As far as particular books go, I said this already on your other thread, but Chess School 1a is perfect for your level.

I just ordered Chess School 1a and 1b from Amazon's other sources. They were not cheap - around $16 and $19.

Thank you so much for your helpful suggestiion.
I look forward to my new books arriving.

I'm rather fond of Paul Littlewood's "Chess Tactics" as a basic tactics/puzzle book.

I have just ordered this book. Thanks.

I'd say that most puzzle books are a subset of tactics books.  A puzzle book is mostly just a collection of (usually tactical) positions to be solved.  Some other tactics books are more didactic and contain a lot of instructional prose.  But I think the best way to improve your tactics is to do a lot of problems.

What is the real difference between a chess tactics book and a chess puzzle book?

And could you recommend some of each for someone trying to get to 1200.  (All my books that call themselves puzzle books are just too hard right now and I struggle and struggle. I want to learn, but I also want to enjoy!)

Thanks.
