As white I have never really prepared for the Scandi, but always play something similar to what I play against the CK, but without having to think too much. Basically with the CK, you need to pick a line against the advance, one against the Panov and one against the main line. None of them will cause a major memory problem. A bit more than the Scandi, but the positions you end up with are usually better (plus due to the lines being a bit more work in the CK, the middle game is easier to play).

	If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see us through.

	In what aspects does the C-K offer more than the 3..Qd6 Scandinavian for Black? And which is safer for Black? (C-K doesn't only mean 3.Nc3, but also the Advance, the Panov, 2.c4, the Exchange, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc)
