Uou uou uou, Just saw that my notation is a complete mess but with some imagination one could restore it.  Wink Anyway, here is the correct notation:
1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e6 3.Nf3 b6 4.g3 Ba6 5.b3 Bb4 6.Bd2 Be7 7.Bg2 c6 8.0-0 d5 9.Ne5 Nfd7 10.Nd3!?
Sorry again for my typing errors.

I spent more time looking at this idea and i reached the conclusion that Black is obliged to take the pawn. At the moment my opinion is that White has excellent compensation for the pawn and it is quite difficult for Black to defend his position... Work continues...

Interesting Idea in QID

Hello,
I spent some time analysing the following position: 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 e5 3.Nf3 b6 4.g2 Ba6 5.b3 Bb4 6.Bd2 Be7 7.Bg2 c6 8.0-0 d5 9.Ne5 Nfd7 10.Nd3!?. Looks like 10.Nd3 deserves serious attention and gives White good compensation for the pawn.
Simple variations which I considered: 10...bxc4 11.bxc4 Bxc4
1) 12.Bf4 0-0 13.Nc3 Bg5 14.Bxg5 Qxg5 15.Qc2 compensation in view of undeveloped Black's Ra8, Nb8 and weak pawn on c6
2) 12.Qc2 Ba6 13.Rc1 0-0 14.a4 Nf6 15.e3 Nd5 14.Na3 Bxd3 15.Qxd3 again i think White has good compensation for the pawn.
Somehow I feel that 10...0-0 is not a good alternative for Black: 11.Bc3 dxc4 12.Nb4!? as in the game Strugatsky-Browne, 1993.
I am interested to hear what is your opinion about the positional pawn sacrifice with 10.Nd3.
Thanks
