Aaaah, a conaisseur! The songs "Motörhead", "Overkill", "Bomber" and "Ace of Spades" - pearls on a string. But the rest superfluous? Nooo! You miss to much. Take the superb but abolished "Another perfect day" in total. Unsurmountable. Or "Orgasmatron" or "Bastards" or "Inferno" - to name a few. They carry on Motörhead's fame in an incredible way.

Judas Priest with Rob Halford... aah. This guy has an uncomparable voice.
Of course I forgot Purple with the tension between Gillan and Blackmore. An Made in Japan is the climax. You can hear the tension right in the entry "Highway Star" where Blackmore breaks out on the howling of Gillan. But hear Made in Europe, Blackmore's last take in Purple. Glen Hughes lifts Purple to new hights with his bass-play and his singing... 
And today Steve Morse makes a good job as Ritchie Mark II as does Don Airey an Jon Lord Mark II
"Rapture of the deep" is a very good work...

Don't get me wrong. I have nor iPod nor YouTube. What is it  that makes you distinguish Lemmy's bass? I have several live cds and the band is best live, I know I was quite a few times there;-) I like the way he plays his bass like a guitar...

On grounds of this thread I just have renamed myself. I'm the new born motörhead formerly not really known as cheesmate. My nickname is programme. Nothing goes over Motörhead. 64 years of noise.

But that's not all. There is much, stretching form Hard'n'Heavy (Iron Maiden, Saxon, Judas Priest) to Progressive Rock (Spock's Beard, Transatlantic, Anathema, Devin Townsend, Eloy) and pure Rock (Audioslave, Bush, Treshold, Creed, Caroline's Spine, ZZ Top).

And softer Music aswell (Blackmore's Night, James Blunt, Dido, Dire Straits, Tony Joe White).
And there is classic music quite often. I especially like Dvorak's 9th symphony, Smetana's Ma Vlast, Grieg's Per Gynt Suite, Händel's Fireworks and Water Music and baroque music.

But on the Top is Motörhead. Untamed, rude and kicking...

I like a wide range of musical taste, from the pop music of old (I have season tickets with my local opera) to the pop music of today. I also enjoy electronic music, whether it be club house (reminds me of my youth) or IDM-style minimalist looping like seefeel. Recently I bought the book "1000 recordings to listen to before you die" and I've been going through the recommendations alphabetically. I've found I really enjoy a lot of "world music" like Mahmoud Ahmed and some Mauritanian stuff. I recommend the book to anyone looking to add some spice to their musical life.

I love Metal and Techno. Nightwish? Paul Oakenfold? DJ Tiesto? 

But anyways as long as its not country i'll probably listen to it and enjoy it.

I use cd player too! Or Pandora or youtube. Never Ipod - waste of money!

And, before I forget: I don't have an IPod. I usually listen to songs on YouTube although I know the audio quality of YouTubes are relatively low.

Yeah, I like it some on that basis too.  I never buy it, but sometimes when I'm on a long road trip I play it, especially at night, since it seems to combine very well with long-distance driving.  Also, no matter where you are on this great continent of ours, even Nova Scotia as I have discovered, you can always be sure of finding a country music station.  But I switch it off when it gets "patriotic."
