My apologies in advance if this is not the correct forum to post this. However, I thought that it may be of interest for ChessPubbers to know of chessic achievements of fellow ChessPubbers.

ChessPubber FM Daniel Fernandez (ACSian) is very close to getting his second IM norm in the Sydney International Open. Last round is AustEasternStandardTime 9:30 am Live games herehttp://www.chessaustralia.com.au/live/ It seems Daniel has been making full use of his ChessPub subscription (if he has one ??) as he has been preparing well in the opening phases of his games.

You can still replay his last round game where he drew with GM Li Chao (China) before the last round at AEST 9:30 am tomorrow. However, GM Ian Rogers, who is providing live commentary, reckons that Daniel had a winning position and it seems Daniel offered the draw ?!
