I notice that Panczyk and Ilczuk appear to prefer 8. Bf4; they cite a game Chuchelov-Glek in which White could have been clearly better.

Hi, 

I just ran into a snag in my repertoire as White.

I know that 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.Nf3 0-0 6.Be2 e5 7.0-0 Na6 8.Be3 is playable for Black, but I feel comfortable as White.

So when an opponent played 6...c6 7.0-0 Na6 I played 8.Be3 and had to scramble for a draw. I found some games by Glek which made it look like a great line for Black.

Is 8.Be3 a mistake here?  Should White play 8.Re1, 8.Bf4 or even 8.h3, as some correspondence games suggest?  

I did look for previous discussions on this line, but was unsuccessful.
