Hey guys, thanks for the replies so far, I will have a look at "The classical King´s Indian uncovered" by Panczyk & Ilczuk.

@ TN: Actually a very good point, I did not really think about the transposition 5.Be2 0-0 6.Be3. For now I suppose the way to go is either the independent 6...c5!? or just coply with the Gligoric after 6...e5, but I will certainly have a closer look at this.

This line is indeed a good surprise weapon, but an opponent who knows you play this may try to 'transpo trick' you with 5.Be2 0-0 6.Be3!?, intending to reach a Gligoric with 6...e5 7.Nf3!. Perhaps Black can play 6...Nc6 intending 7.Nf3 Bg4, but then 7.d5 Ne5 8.f4 Ned7 9.Nf3 favours White.

This doesn´t work if White chooses 1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.Be2 followed by 6.Nf3. I don´t know of any drawback to this moveorder for White.

The best source about 6... Bg4 probably is "The classical King´s Indian uncovered" by Panczyk & Ilczuk

7. Ng1 could just be met by 7...Bc8 there.  By contrast 7. Be3 Nfd7 8. Ng1 is a known line, though off the top of my head I think some sources consider it suboptimal for White.
