	I've seen computers not recognize 3-fold repetitions when the drawing moves aren't consecutive. It could be that the players didn't push the "draw" button out of fear of losing on time. There are other explanations, but I think "the gamescore is incorrect" is the least likely explanation. There is no reason that I can see for the game score to be incorrect in this way.

	I think the most likely explananation is that the gamescore is incorrect in the database. As is the case with loads of games.

	The game seems to have been played online, so it's even more strange that the server didn't call the draw - as it would do on for example playchess. Anyway, not a very Christmasy draw to say the least. Btw, wasn't there something similar in a real tournament in Holland 1-2 years ago? Something about a bigshot GM being caught in a forced draw from the opening against a much lower rated player, and sullenly declined all draw offers. And the opponent decided to not bother with claiming a draw when 50 repetitions would do...

	It's a bit of a mess in practice isn't it? I once had one of those 1.Qg6+ Kh8 2.Qh6+ Kg8 3.Qg6+ perpetuals (with some piece e.g. a rook on f8) in a 5 minute blitz tournament. I offered/claimed a draw, but my opponent wanted to play on (on the basis that he had 2 minutes on the clock and I had 1 minute and he assumed he would win on time if we just kept on moving forth and back). I called the arbiter, who was then pretty uncertain on what to do, but eventually declared a draw. Maybe this was a similar sort of thing?
