Many national federations in Europe have searchable lists online and/or for download, [...]
Edit: Kylemeister beat me to it. I'll just add that for Norway, http://www.narviksjakklubb.org/elobase.php is an alternative, more user-friendly version of the ratings database. Though the one linked by Kylemeister is still the official one.

One tip: search for "chess rating" or "Elo rating" in Wikipedia and look up the pages in other languages (linked on the left). They will usually have links to the various national lists.

Thanks.  I was surprised that the English Chess Federation doesn't make its rating lists public.  At least it appeared to me that they required a password.

Woops!  I stand corrected!

I am interested to know what chess organizations publish member ratings on the internet, for anyone to see.  I am aware of CFC (Canada), ICCF, FIDE and USCF.  Does anyone know of any others (a reference to their website would be helpful).
