No, it just means that when the discussion gets serious, someone's coming back and back and back with mere opinion and  "you must check magic website X" and "I have the secret answer right here in my hip pocket" and "I always win with System Z, play me now at speed" is not really friendly or even respectful  There are one or perhaps two people who come to this forum and make expansive claims for some system or other, and then evade real discussion while continuing to post provocatively.  

They are few, but they do need to be fairly strictly moderated, because their effect is destabilizing.  We used to have long, heated exchanges on these questions before we had stricter moderation of them, and I don't think that anybody really liked it.  In fact I think it put people off.

So long as discussion remains friendly and constructive, there is no question of its being curtailed.  You can come here and uphold Professor Fate's Gambit as much as you like, but in doing so you must be willing to engage in discussion about the 64 squares. 

I never got together with Craig Evans and discussed this, but it seems that we think alike.  I speak for myself alone, of course.

This is the thread where any discussion of the moderation of this forum should occur.  Do not post in the content threads on this subject.  In particular, this, not the thread where the moderation occurred, is where you should post any objections you may have to forum moderation.
