	Not sure about the teams but they do have to preregister, so not going to be that easy to drop people It is down south though so would take whole weekends out, with hotel room fees etc. In terms of Northern chess leagues there's two ones more easily reachable from Manchester. One is the Woodhouse in Yorkshire - that's 11 Saturdays (day trips) through the winter and very well established. Neither Calderdale or Bradford is that far and you do get
