I see that someone is offering Houdini 2.0c in this "Engine Cloud".
That is not allowed by the Houdini license agreement, you cannot rent your Houdini 2.0 license to other people.

Problematic if you use commercial engines i guess ..

It's too bad that you can only earn ducats.  If it was for real money, I would open up a PC for engine use.  It would be a change to earn money from this hobby for once.  Chessbase has videos about this on youtube.  Coolest part is that if you use the service, your local cores are not bogged down.

Never tried it. And don't have a wish to..
Btw, it's not revolutionary to use more than one computer for analyzing a position. No matter if you call it Engine Cloud or whatever.. Just another way to get the money (ducats, pennies..) out of the ordinary users' pockets!..  Roll Eyes

Has anybody been able to give the "ChessBase Engine Cloud" a go yet on Fritz 13?  Wondering if there are any first impressions?
