Since the computers where able to analyse games, the break down of games is gone, because the one with the best computers wins.

The day before the computer, games where broken after an evening and continued next evening. The player who was to move wrote down his move, the  position was recorded on a piece of paper envelope was opened after next day.  Of course unfair fraud is from all days: envelopes where made gone and some are secretly steamed open to watch the move written, in rare cases some changes are made (extra pawn). A special committee with all strong players made game analysis, on special evenings, with the needing drinks and food. Also not committee players where welcome that evenings and made fun (only opponents where not allowed to come), the whole team was notorious in the whole area by its break down games. Great victories are made, like a player who wanted to swap of queens all the time and then finding the only way when this trade is loosing!

The good old days are over: computer analysis destroyed the break down game and included, games are shorted. Nowadays everything need to be finished the same day. More concerned is that a lot of guys want to shorten the game. In a lot of tournaments time is already decreased; also some are talking about decreasing club time and time in external clashes. This is really awful for the game, is it really needed that chess is decided by small blunders or mistakes due to a lack of time? Why are most endgames always blitzed within a few minutes? If you need chess at acceptable level time is needed, to prevent blunders and give a likely chance for long endgames. Where is the accurate play from both sides?

Chessplayers need to think; decreasing time is damaging the beautifullness of chess

More time please
