	b2 played and the new Q checks is a spanner in the Rf4-h4 plan. Speelman is already pessimistic about White's chances. BTW, Carlsen cannot be accused of playing like engine a la a certain notorious recent player 'cos Stockfish recommended gxf6 instead of g6.

	If White plays the immediate Rook lift, can't Black Queen, then ...Qd1, Rh4 Qh5, gives him...Bf5 to defend h7? (which somewhat validates my points about a narrow field of operations, and White having one big threat)

	Evaluations are meaningless with perfect play. In a tense shootout like this, they're entirely academic.

	True, it does feel like White's all in. And the fact Anand hasn't moved for thirty minutes is not a good sign at all.

	I am relying on Stockfish 4 but I think it is not as easy as people think it is. Listening on ICCFM with Mark Crowther and GM Jon Speelman and they cannot make White work. I think that is in Magnus' favour that White cannot find it easy to make mate. If Anand cannot make mate, then the b3 pawn is a winner, is it not? I think some here make it easier than it looks which is the case if there is no b3 pawn. But that b3 pawn is a worry. just my 0,5 cents worth.

	Seems a handy enough position, but some comments are getting a bit carried away...I think this looks optically better than it is..the field of engagement is fairly narrow, and White has to try to latch onto something. It's the kind of position where White must count on generating precisely one big threat, and if Black can neutralise it, that's it; there won't be a fallback option.
