	Well I see GM analysis on the internet and the videos also have audio (the same way we say 'I watched a movie' and not 'I watched and listened to a movie'). Or I read the interviews online and it hurts my ears nonetheless. But you're right, of course, thanks, I will try not to use it. Still I don't think being annoyed by other people's mistakes is hypocrisy as long as I try not to commit my own.

	The quoted text is no more jarring than the usage, "I see people say..." and that this purportedly visual experience "hurts my ears." So, did you see it or hear it? Perhaps you have managed to "see" with your ears.

	I probably wouldn't have used it myself, but "I blundered Rxc3" is entirely understandable, and even a bit creative. Relax people, words and languages always have and always will change! Quote: blunder (v.) mid-14c., "to stumble about blindly," from a Scandinavian source akin to Old Norse blundra "shut one's eyes," from PIE root *bhlendh- (see blind). Meaning "make a stupid mistake" is first recorded 1711. Related: Blundered; blundering. Maybe I should be a real Norse purist and demand that "blunder" only be used if you actually took a nap?! (Modern Norwegian "blund" (n.) still means "nap" btw.)
