The best solution ive found until they release an android app is to "second" screen it. In other words, have the book open on a kindle or tablet, then run through the games on a phone from a site like chessgames.com

I would put up a demo-board, have 2 phones (one for White, one for Black), the tablet and a personal grandmaster  Grin

sorry - but seriously tablet+phone does not sound like a solution

I emailed Gambit. Murray Chandler wrote "Yes, in due course we hope to produce and Android version, but as yet can give no indication of timescale..."

Don't check me with no lightweight stuff.

Has anyone heard of an option for Android except for the Kindle reader?

Hi all,

I hope this doesn't count as promotion---I have nothing at all to do with Gambit books, apart from owning too many of them...

Anyway, Gambit has released an app called Gambit Chess Studio for iOS. The general design seems quite close to ePlusBooks, but obviously with different titles available. The starting selection of books is small compared to other apps, but decent enough. John Watson's d4 white repertoire is up there, which I certainly appreciate.

Good news for iOS users!
