Some great selections there. Anything by Dvoretsky any Yusupov is wonderful. Kmoch's book will be great for your chess education. And everyone needs to do more work on endgames. Seriously, everyone. Silman's book is a good starter for review and exposure to what will probably be some new insights as well.

First order of business: lay out a study schedule for your new books. Make a formal plan to get through them or it's likely they'll acquire dust on the shelf.

I did not receive any chess memorabilia specifically this year, but rather was given all of my gifts in the form of $$$. I'm thinking of turning that into my first ever subscription to ChessPublishing (after 6-7 years lurking, it's about time!) and am trying to make my final selection of a chess book to order from Amazon.

Merry Chessmas to all!
