True, although when the Star Wars personality quiz came out with me as Darth Vader, I was trying not to think "wow that's true, I AM like that..."  Grin

Surgeon - like Lasker. Quite a surprise for me, but after reading some more about him, it starts to make sense.

I wonder in which category would fit Keres, Spassky and Petrosian ?

I got Prodigy like Magnus Carlsen. The opening recommendations seem accurate since I do play those.

One "test your positional play" book was, er, Test Your Positional Play by Bellin and Ponzetto from the 1980s.

Regarding that Najdorf position (indeed an oldie), one thing I recalled was an article by Emanuel Berg a few years back.  He seemed to like White.  I think maybe once upon a time Geller thought it was better for Black.

Well, seems like I am the first person to be a Romantic, like Ivanchuk. Then again, I did it twice afterwards changing a couple of replies each time, and then I got Capablanca, and Tal ?!

Would be good to have someone write a book similar to Chess Exam by Khmelnitsky that delves into your positional skills, he did one for chess tactics after the chess exam book.

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 f5 3. Nxe5 Nc6 4. Qh5+ g6 5. Nxg6 Nf6 6. Qh3 fxe4 7. Nxh8 d5.

I think "gambit position" is a nice way of putting it.

I recognised it as old fashioned main line Bg5 Nardojf theory, yes. Couldn't remember any sort of evaluation though.

Presumably the test is meant to be of your instinctive reaction and not the result of massive analysis - are you happier defending a massive attack a piece up or persecuting it?

I gave up after the second question wasn't really possible to answer sensibly and third totally so. That presumably makes me a pedant Smiley
(I just checked the rest and there's only a handful of questions where I could give a remotely accurate answer with either of the two choices.).
