I totally agree with fling. I also know that US is converting inch by inch so why not convert page by page  Grin
I hope A4 will stay but in the end the technology will fix it.

What kind of proof is that?

Were there requests for A4?

No, I don't suppose anyone even noticed as printers will adjust the output to the page. Still, I thought it was time to bring this subject up.
Although we have subscribers from all over the globe, a large proportion come from the US (followed by the UK and Germany) so I could easily go back to Letter size if necessary.

Are there only US subscribers?

Anyway, let's not start the usual discussion about the topic of standards. My opinion is that we have an international standard system (SI) for e.g measurements (like kg, not pounds, cm not inches etc). A4 is part of another international standard (DIN 476-2 and ISO 216). Letter paper size is not an international standard.

And yes, I know what letter size looks like, I have lived in San Diego for three years.

I would prefer going back to Letter size which was the way the files used to be. Were there requests for A4?

Page size for PDF files

I've just changed the opening PDF eBook page size from 'Letter' (which is the standard in the USA) to 'A4', which is international.
This changes how it looks on screen a bit (A4 is a little longer and thinner), but I wouldn't have thought anyone would notice this, however, it might make printing more awkward.
If anyone wants me to change this back, please post here.
