	What is true is of it, at least, is that the first time inexperienced players encounter it they rarely play 6. Bf1!. 	Besides, the Ulvestad leaves Black worse after 5...b5 6.Bf1 h6 7.Nxf7 Kxf7 8.dxc6 Bc5 9.Be2! 6...Nd4 would transpose to the Fritz-Variation, which is also not entirely satisfactory.

	Another "anti-positional" chess thread insofar as it belongs in the "General Chess" section about as much as a knight belongs on b7. Strategy: Do a search for yourself before asking others to help. And I also asked whether there's any detailed coverage of this line. Granted, stipulating that Black Weapons is a repertoire only doesn't mean the Ulvestad variation doesn't exist. A tree will still fall down even if you don't hear it. So, is there any coverage of this line in any book, article I can look at?

	Here's the line I'm referring to: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.Ng5 d5 5.exd5 b5!? Bologan's Black Weapons only covers the 5...Na5 response. So this has me scratching my head as to why he ignores the Ulvestad variation with the aforementioned 5...b5 line? Has this been extensively covered in a monogram or article refuting the 5...b5 line anywhere? Or is this line too speculative to analyze? I'm surprised Bologan's Black Weapons doesn't even mention the 5...b5 idea. He could have at least said it was too wild to calculate.
